In this Work at Home Paycheck Review, I will tell you exactly why I think it is a scam. This type of scam is popping up more and more often these days. It is worth noting what makes it a scam so that you can learn to avoid similar schemes in the future. Read on!

Program Overview

Work at Home Paycheck is far from an original scam. These types of scams sell the idea of riches without selling an actual product. The funny thing is there are definitely riches to be found online, but you will never find them through a scam like this.

WaHP boasts that all you have to do to make money with them is post links. You’ll get at least $15 for every link that you post. All you have to do is login.

How does this all work? Well there is a rather lengthy (30 minutes) sales video that you will have to sit through to find out. Unfortunately, this video is just selling you on the dream. They focus primarily on what you will be making. The goal of the video is to get you to buy into the program, not educate you on what you’ll be doing.

There are a couple of things wrong with this sales video. Number one, “Jessica Marshall” is a paid actress. So right out of the gate we’ve established trust issues. The second thing, they provide “proof” of the income you can make by showing a bank statement. This is the world of photoshop, don’t trust that “proof.”

The fact is, you should never give your hard earned money to a program that promises Rome in a day. There is no such thing as “get rich quick” in the Internet game. Fake checks and false promises are how these scams attract more money to their wallets. A trustworthy program would never brag about income.

Who is Jessica Marshall?

The world may never know. Jessica Marshall is not real! At least that’s not her real name. Don’t believe me? Here is a screen-shot of the disclaimer at Work at Home Paycheck:

Jessica Marshall

Now, I don’t really buy the concern for privacy. I suppose it could be true, and this is all just speculation, but would you really be that concerned? This just makes me question the validity of the rest of the program.

Upsells

These scams are built on upsells. They lure you in with false promises of riches and BAM! They force upsells down your throat.

Work at Home Paycheck will try to sell you on “one on one coaching” and they will charge you tuition fees that are dependent on what you are interested in pursuing. These are not real classes. They are simply after your money and they will try to get 2-15 thousand dollars out of you. So much for that one time fee of $47.

Cons

  • This program is a duplicate of other scams.
  • Jessica Marshall is an imposter!
  • Upsells.

The Final Word…

Scam!

This is an easy one. Work at Home Paycheck is a scam. They sell you on the dream and distract you with false claims. Before you know it, you could be out a lot of money! Avoid programs that promise “overnight success.”

Success on the Internet is possible. You can certainly get to the point where you are making huge amounts of money. It takes hard work, commitment, and the desire to keep learning more. It’s not always easy being your own boss but if you are dedicated, working from home opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

Are you willing to work for these possibilities? Do you want to learn the right ways to make a full-time income online? Do you want to be your own boss and work in your pajamas?

I am the owner of Pajamas and Tie. After years of being scammed, I've taken it upon myself to expose these schemes and let the legitimate programs shine through. You can find me on my site or hanging out over at Wealthy Affiliate.

  1. What is real when it comes to working at home? Are all of them scams? Do you have any real ones that’s not a scam?

    • Hello Donese,

Unfortunately, a lot of the programs that promise to teach you how to make money online are outright lying. I’ve been investigating MMO (Make Money Online) programs for a while now, and the list of scams outweighs the list of legitimate opportunities. However, every once in awhile I find a legitimate program. You can check my trusted tab to find this list of opportunities, or you can check out my review for Wealthy Affiliate (My #1 recommendation). This program focuses on teaching it’s members affiliate marketing (it also has lessons covering a variety of topics: from local marketing, to selling your own products). Affiliate marketing isn’t for everyone, and you may find that it isn’t what you’re hoping for when it comes to a career online, but the reason I continue to promote WA above any other program, is the fact that they will allow you to try before you buy. A lot of programs force you to “pay to play.” With WA you are given the opportunity to check out the program for free, if it doesn’t interest you, you can walk away, no harm no foul. Also, if you sign up through me, I will be there to help you with anything you need while you are building your business.

I hope this helps, and that we can connect in the future.

      Derek
