Is My Lead System Pro a Scam?

Name: My Lead System Pro (MLSP)

Website: http://www.myleadsystempro.com

Price: $149.97 per month, $1499.97 per year

Owners: Norbert Orlewicz, Todd Schlomer, Brian Fanale

Program Overview

My Lead System Pro (MLSP) was started in 2008. The system is built around the premise of “attraction marketing.” This basically means you have to “think” it and it will “happen.” I think that’s cool, I’m a big fan of “The Secret” myself. However, you have to understand that success online is dependent on A LOT of hard work. So you should absolutely be thinking happy thoughts but know that you’ve got to work for your success.

MLSP is another MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) Scheme. This is a pyramid scheme. If you have read my other reviews, you know that I’m not a fan of MLM sites.

Who is it for?

MLSP provides training and is meant to be used by anybody hoping to make some extra cash. Unfortunately, you need your own product to market, either before you start or shortly afterward.

There is a lot of information provided at MLSP and this can be overwhelming for people who are just starting out in the online world. Even people that do have experience may feel MLSP requires them to absorb too much.

Training and Tools

There is a lot of training in the form of webinars, video presentations, and more. Website building and hosting are provided and there are more advanced tools once you understand the basics. There is a sales funnel and other tools that will allow you to drive more traffic to your site. There are contests but they are outdated.

Support

A big plus to this program is it’s member support. There is the usual customer service routes and other ways to connect with fellow members. They have a strong social media presence and offer contests that inspire and connect the community.

Price

The biggest flaw of the MLSP program is the price. $1,499 per year, are you kidding me?! The program is hugely overpriced. Allow me to break this down further:

Academy Membership – $2 for a three day trial and then it will cost you $19.97 per month.

Gold Membership – $9.95 for a two week trial and then $49.97 per month.

Platinum Membership – $99 per month and you can update from the $2 three day trial.

Mastery Membership – $149 per month or $1499.97 per year. The Mastery Membership includes website building, hosting, and the Facebook fan page template.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • There is a lot of information provided regarding marketing of various types.
  • There are no false claims of “overnight success.”
  • There are free weekly webinars with current and updated information.
  • Contests are in place to keep members motivated.
  • The member of the month award is also motivational.

Cons:

  • The programs is incredibly expensive.
  • A portion of the training material requires an email address to access.
  • A large number of scam complaints.
  • Their website is outdated.
  • A lot of the training focuses on techniques that are expensive to implement.
  • You HAVE TO promote MLSP to others in order to make money.

The Final Word…

Scam!

Given that MLSP is a MLM scheme, the best way to make money from it is by promoting it to others. The people who benefit the most from this type of scheme are those at the top of the pyramid as opposed the members representing the bottom. Basically, this program is taking money from the poor and giving it to the rich. This is a shameless scam.
