ZoomPanel Review – Trusted or Busted?

ZoomPanel

Name: ZoomPanel

Price: FREE to join

ZoomPanel is yet another survey site that promises riches and delivers pocket change. Yes, you can make some quick cash with survey sites. No, you cannot get rich with them. If you are only looking for a little bit of extra spending money, ZoomPanel could work for you. Read my full review before you make your mind up!

Program Overview

Let me start by saying: I’m not the biggest fan of survey sites. For me they are just a waste of time, but I work full-time online using a different method. I realize that some people aren’t looking for a full-time income from the Internet, they are just looking for some extra cash.

If you are one of those people, this review is for YOU!

The Sign-up Process:

A lot of the times survey sites are riddled with CPA (Cost Per Action/Acquisition) offers and other scammy material. I was already apprehensive about joining and when I got to the homepage, I felt even more uneasy.

The homepage is typically where a site like this would display information on what it has to offer users and how they can make money. The homepage for ZoomPanel is simply a login page. You’ll need to click on the “How it Works” tab for information on what the program has to offer.

What did I learn when I clicked on the “How it Works” tab? Not a whole lot! There really isn’t much information given.

ZoomPanel: How Does it Work?

Well there you have it folks! I guess that is all of the information you need…

Signing-up for a site without having all of the information is unsettling. Especially when you have to enter your personal information (ZoomPanel requires you to enter your street address).

The Payment Process:

With ZoomPanel, you’ll earn up to 250 points (never more, usually less) per survey. The unusual thing about this program is they only have one payout method. A $25 Amazon gift card that is mailed to you.

That explains why they need your street address.

This gift card costs 2,500 points to redeem. While there is an outside chance that you could find 10 surveys worth 250 points each, this would be highly unusual.

ZoomPanel: Survey PointsNote: There are not always surveys available. When there are surveys available, you will have to prequalify for them. This can be more difficult than it sounds. Qualifying often takes just as long as the actual survey, you do not get paid for it, and if you fail to qualify, you’re SOL.

This is part of the reason I despise survey sites. I’m not interesting enough to qualify for most surveys. Woe is me.

Most people will only earn enough points to cash out once a month. That means you’ll be paid $25 for a months worth of work.

This is the other reason I hate survey sites.

Complaints:

There are a lot of complaints from users that never received their payment. The problem with survey sites, is you do all of the work before you are paid. You have to rely on the company to follow through with your payment. Given that your payment is sent via snail mail, you’ll have to take the company’s word that they actually sent it.

Judging by the amount of complaints, ZoomPanel is not very reliable when it comes to sending payments.

Relying on somebody else to deliver your payments isn’t good. When it comes to making money online, it is best to retain control of your income streams. This allows you to determine how much money you make and how much work you do (hint: the two go hand-in-hand).

If you’d like to learn more about how I make money online, check out my affiliate marketing email course. I’ll teach you how to make REAL income online, not just extra pocket change.

If you can dedicate 2 hours a night to taking surveys, than you can take 2 hours a night to build your own online business. The money won’t come immediately, but when it does you stand to make a lot more with affiliate marketing than you ever could with surveys.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Actual surveys are easy to take!
  • Payments are sent immediately upon redemption.

Cons:

  • You can’t make a lot of money with this method.
  • It can take a very long time to finish ONE survey.
  • It can be pretty difficult to qualify for surveys.
  • There are a lot of complaints aimed at ZoomPanel’s inability to send payment.

The Final Word…

ScamNormally I give survey sites a “Decent” rating, because you can make a little bit of money from them. However, I read too many negative comments, from users of ZoomPanel, to call it anything but a scam. They’re not guilty of stealing money, they are guilty of stealing time.

Which is more precious to you?

I don’t see ZoomPanel as a particularly malicious company. I think you can probably make that extra scratch if you are willing to roll the dice on them. If you are just looking for a little fun money, survey sites may be perfect for you! If you are looking for a career online, you should start looking in another direction.

  1. Very nice review Derek. We get all the information needed to know about Zoompanel. Sad to know that they don’t send payment to people after they complete survey worth of 25$. I will keep coming back to your site to know about any online income program.

    • Thank you for the feedback Demi! I don’t like survey sites, but there are definitely better ones out there! Make sure that you stay tuned!

  2. Hi Derek,

$25 for a month’s worth of work is great for kids, but certainly not the kind of income you want if you are a decent adult who want a good roof over your head and proper meal on the table.

I still don’t get it why people are signing up for survey sites. It’s the internet era and things should multiply proportionately, not manually. Get a website up and running and generate a good income source from there. It’s way more reliable and rewarding.

    🙂

    • Well to each their own. I don’t personally like survey sites. I think time is more valuable than that. They are great for kids though! It’s just better to create an income machine that generates passive income over time. It’s always better to work for yourself, than to work for somebody else.

      Thank you for the feedback!

      Derek

  3. I have fell into the ream of doing surveys before. They are definitely such a waste of time. I think it’s awful that ZoomPanel is not standing behind making sure that the people that do take those surveys are actually getting their $25.00 card.

If that was all I was getting and I knew it, I would not be caught up in that at all. I have to agree with your labeling them as a SCAM.

  4. Hello.. Been trmpting to join ” Paid surveys ftom home ” but after reading your posts and comments, i am having second thoughts sbout signing up…. Any advise about this site? I would be very grateful

    • Hello Mercedes,

I haven’t yet reviewed Paid Surveys from Home, but I did a quick search so I could try to give you a more educated answer. Do they charge you? If so, then you should absolutely avoid the program. No survey sites should charge you money. If they do charge, it’s a scam.

Are you looking to make A LITTLE BIT of extra pocket change? or do you want to make a full-time income online? If you’re just looking for a little bit extra, survey sites are a fine way to go! If you want to make serious money, look into affiliate marketing.

I’m sorry that I don’t have any advice for that specific site. I hope that I have been of some help. I will add “Paid Surveys from Home” to my ever growing list of programs to check out.
