Google Sniper 2.0 – Scoping it Out

Google Sniper 2.0 – Does it Live up to the Hype?

Name: Google Sniper 2.0

Website: http://www.gsniper.com

Owners: George Brown

Price: $1 for a 5-day trial, $47 for the complete product

Program Overview

In this Google Sniper 2.0 review, I will give a description of what the product has to offer. Obviously this is the second edition of the Google Sniper series. The first was incredibly successful and was viewed as a decent starting point for online marketing beginners.

After Google updated their algorithm for search results, the information provided by Google Sniper became detrimental to a website’s health. In other words, Google considers some of the tips given to be negative techniques and it will actually penalize you for using them.

This change in Google’s algorithm prompted George Brown, Google Sniper owner, to create Google Sniper 2.0. This edition is supposed to cover flaws and provide strategies to fit the new Google algorithm.

What is a “Sniper Site”?

Sniper sites are WordPress sites that have an exact match keyword domain name. Basically, you find a product on Clickbank and create a domain name based on that product. This is how George Brown teaches you to rank on Google.

Google’s new algorithm actually outdated this technique. The domain name has less impact on your actual site now-a-days.

Look at my site: Pajamas and Tie. This site is in the “work from home” and “avoid scams” niche. The name of my site, while representative of working from home, isn’t a keyword in my niche. However, I continuously rank in Google for posts with targeted keywords.

The reason that sites rank well in Google, is because they offer quality content regularly. George Brown does not provide a strong enough emphasis on quality content creation.

So what does he provide?

What can You Learn From Google Sniper 2.0?

There are 8 original videos that cover the following information:

  • Building websites
  • New SEO techniques and finding keywordsGoogle Sniper 2.0
  • Acquiring natural traffic
  • Internet and Social Media marketing
  • Attracting return visitors to your website
  •  Turning visitors into purchasers

Unfortunately, these videos don’t appear to feature many updates from the original program. So the information is still outdated! This is absolutely ridiculous and tells me that George Brown is more interested in scamming you out of your money than actually educating you.

Support:

The support is terrible. There is a lot of talk of this program featuring a large community, and it does have a lot of sales, but I was unable to locate a forum or even a Facebook group. There is no way to talk with fellow members. The ability to network is fundamental for a successful affiliate marketing career.

I sent a support ticket (just to test the support) and it went completely unanswered. FAIL.

Price:

The 5-day trial period will only set you back $1. Not bad! But after that the pricing gets confusing. It’s $47 dollars (one time fee) for the whole package. There’s a tiny check-box asking if you would like to include “Sniper X” in your package.

It is not made evident that Sniper X is a recurring fee of $47 per month. That’s upsell number one, and it is snuck in there so that you will not notice.

I don’t understand the need for a monthly membership fee because it is a set of outdated videos and training guide. This is just a sloppily thrown together product. Clearly, George just wants your money.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Easy to follow tutorials.
  • Very affordable at a one time fee of $47 (if you avoid the upsells.)
  • $1 for the 5-day trial period (not quite “try before you buy” but close!)

Cons:

  • Support takes a long time to answer questions.
  • Outdated information.
  • Limited resources provided.
  • 60-day money back guarantee and a video-only sales page (signs of a scam.)
  • George Brown utilizes shady marketing tactics and upsells.

The Final Word

Scam!

This had potential to be a good product, but it ended up being one of the more sleazy programs I’ve seen. The marketing tactics are scuzzy. The upsells are hidden, which is as lowball as it gets. The information is outdated and can actually hurt your site health.

This program is marketed for beginners but unless you know a bit about the industry, you won’t be able to avoid the scammy portions. Perhaps, that was exactly what George was banking on.

When Google Sniper first came out it had a lot of potential to be a legitimate education tool. However, it is now outdated and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

There is now a Google Sniper 3.0. Stay tuned for my review.

  1. This is a great review of Google Sniper 2.0. I’ve seen several reviews of this product and they all come to the same conclusion – fail. Do you suspect that the developers of Google Sniper 2.0 are following reviews and will update their product accordingly? ..or do you think their are still enough “suckers” buying it so they don’t feel a need to upgrade?

    • Hey Dave,

Between Google Sniper 1 and 2.0, not much changed. I have yet to try 3.0 but from what I’ve read, they still haven’t changed much. I will post a full review once I’ve tried it myself.

In my opinion the developers are preying on people new to Internet Marketing. People who are just starting out can’t weed out the good information from the bad and can’t detect an inferior product. The Google Sniper product was once promising, but now I think they are just out for money. It’s a shame.

It was good to connect with you over at Wealthy Affiliate! I’ll see you back over there!

    • A gambler huh? Well if you ever want a less risky way to earn steady income online, try affiliate marketing. Keep checking back, here at Pajamas and Tie, to stay informed and find a program that is right for you.

    • I may review it in the future. However, from what I’ve seen they don’t really change that much between versions. Stay tuned!
